A Family Owned Italian Restaurant since 1982
Antonio (Tony) Ingrilli moved to Milwaukee from Capo d'Orlando, Sicily in 1964 and began making pizza at the age of seventeen. By the time he was twenty-four, Tony opened his first restaurant, Ingrilli's Villa, a causal, south side staple specializing in Italian entrees and pizza. Tony and his wife Kathy went on to open an Italian specialty delicatessen and liquor store, becoming one of the first local businesses to make and sell homemade frozen pizzas. Their pizza and products were sold in grocery stores throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, helping to make Ingrilli a household name. From there, Tony and Kathy opened Caterina's Ristorante in 1982, a fine dining Italian restaurant featuring both Northern and Southern Italian cuisine. In 2003, son Tony Jr. took over the family business and continues to carry on his parent's legacy.
